  Safe Injection Sites to Protect People from Drug Overdose.

  Xylazine and Fentanyl have become the emerging threat for American people’s lives.  US federal government regarded the drug of simple possession as a crime. However, US has been the top one country of drug abuse in the world. Overdose death tolls raised dramatically in recent years in the US. New York City was the first city to open supervised injection sites in Manhattan in 2011. The sites functions as the followings: to exchange needles, to provide strip to test the strength of the drug, to secure people with oxygen and AED. No one died from overdose between 2014-2019.
